As a special 30th birthday celebration in November 2017, we brought Multiplicity ‘home’ to Manchester. The setting was the stunning Hallé St Peters in Ancoats and we were delighted to welcome almost 250 of the creative community to our party.
First on stage was Helen Musselwhite, an adopted Mancunian with a great respect within the creative community. Helen was accompanied on stage by a paper version of her Chocolate Labrador Earl. Next up and all the way from Singapore was Yah-Leng Yu, the founder of Foreign Policy Design. Yah-Leng gave great insight into their work and influences. Finally we welcomed Sean Perkins from branding agency North who spoke about two projects in real detail.
After the event it was all across the road for a few drinks together. We’ll be back in 20 years for our 5oth!
As part of the event we also held a workshop at Plant Noma in the afternoon and welcomed a number of students from the Universities and Colleges in the area to try foiling by hand and understanding the process further.
