Verònica Fuerte

Verònica Fuerte

Founder & Creative Director

Verònica Fuerte is a designer and illustrator from Barcelona.

After earning a degree in Graphic Design from ELISAVA and an MA in Typeface Design from EINA she worked for several design studios in Barcelona.

In 2007 she founded her own studio, Hey, which has grown steadily since. She received the ADC Young Guns 7 award and her work has appeared in prestigious media such as It’s nice that, DesignBoom, Communication Arts and AIGA. Verònica also teaches in several different universities in Barcelona and frequently speaks at international conferences.

Paul Belford

Paul Belford

Founder & Creative Director

Never one to choose the obvious route, Paul gave art school a miss in favour of a PhD in biochemistry.

He then, inexplicably, found work as an art director and creative director in some of London’s best ad agencies.

He launched Paul Belford Ltd in 2013.

He has won hundreds of creative awards for his work in both advertising and design, including 9 D&AD Yellow Pencils and 27 D&AD Graphite Pencils.

Paul also writes for Creative Review magazine.

Thomas Humeau / George Wu

Thomas Humeau

Thomas is from the west of France and studied graphic design in Paris for 5 years before moving to London.

He joined Mother Design in 2015 after a varied career working in-house at Apple, Vice and i-D magazine and at respected agencies such as Neighbour and Harrimansteel. He has worked on a breadth of clients including Nike, BBC, PlayStation and Converse.

George Wu

Originally from Manchester, George switched her seasoned life as a freelance to join Mother team in 2018.

As a designer with over 10 years of experience, she believes exciting branding comes from strong concepts and excellent craft mixed with the unexpected.

An accidental jack of all trades, she has experience in directing, creative and experiential branding with commissions for Arnolifini, Barbican, 100% Design Tokyo, Science Museum, Selfridges and featured at Craft Punk by Design Miami/Fendi Milan. This fortuitous path has led her from a HClub British Council Creative Entrepreneur award to a Cannes Silver lion.

Rick Banks

Rick Banks

Founder & Creative Director

Rick Banks, is a graphic designer, typographer, publisher and proud northerner. Working under the moniker of Face37 he has helped create some of the world’s most loved brands, including EE, Triumph Motorcycles, AXA and British Heart Foundation.


Tickets for Multiplicity work on a first come, first served basis. All proceeds will go to a local charity. Our chosen charity is SHP/ Single Homeless Project.

Tickets are £10 per person.

Foilco and our event sponsors cover all costs of putting together Multiplicity. This keeps the cost of the evening as low as possible for you. However we wanted to make a difference to the places we visit and we hope that the money we raise will help the charities withinthat area.

Food & Drink

We wanted Multiplicity London to be the biggest, best and most complete so far, so we’ve got some friends on board.

Good Things Brewing are joining us, after their recent ventures on Channel 4, their mission is to lead and promote the most sustainable brewery in the UK. Good Things Brewing will be bringing everything that their brewery has to offer to Multiplicity London.

Also along for the evening, we have the amazing team at Portobello Road Gin, opening up a one of a kind gin bar and bringing with them a special range of products.

Lastly, London based The Proper Pie Co, are bringing the art of artisan pie baking to Multiplicity. Serving proper home cooked pies and sides that contain only the finest, locally sourced, fresh seasonal produce – The Proper Pie Co are here to do pies, the way they should be.
